Q: How do I buy a Legacy Power Wagon Conversion?

Legacy Power Wagon Conversions™ can be built to order or you can choose from our available inventory. It is highly recommended that you call the shop and discuss your needs with our Owner, Winslow Bent. He will help guide you through the process of picking engines, transmissions, etc.

Q: How do I pay for a Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ and/or a custom truck?

If you are purchasing available inventory, Legacy Classic Trucks will send you a Letter of Intent to Purchase. Funds are then wired or mailed to Legacy Classic Trucks. Your notarized title and Bill of Sale will be shipped with your new vehicle. For vehicles built to order, Legacy Classic Trucks requests a down payment of 25%. A second payment of 25% will be requested prior to bodywork. A third payment is due once the vehicle is painted. The final payment is due prior to shipping once final assembly is complete.

Q: How is a Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ Shipped to me once I buy it?

Legacy Classic Trucks has customers all over the world. We work closely with shipping companies to make sure that your new vehicle arrives safely and securely. We can shrink wrap, use enclosed containers, and often times personally deliver our vehicles. Shipping costs are not included in the price of your truck, but we are happy to get you a quote.

Q: How do I insure a Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™?

There are several options available that insure collectible vehicles. Often times owners insure their vehicles with their homeowner’s policy(like you would a piece of Art) and use their auto insurance company for liability only. Legacy is happy to work with appraisers.

Q: How do I title and register a Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™?

Legacy Power Wagon Conversions™ are registered in the state of Wyoming using their original VIN numbers. In some cases it is necessary to create a new VIN number, which is handled by local authorities. Whenever you purchase a Legacy Classic Truck it will come with a clean Wyoming title. Some states are changing their regulations in regards to emissions from older cars. Every Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ is available with 50 state smog certification, including CARB. We offer a money back guarantee that our emission equipped trucks will pass your local emission standards.

Q: Who will fix my Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ if it has a problem?

Legacy Classic Trucks makes every effort to assemble our vehicles with commonly available parts. Both diesel and gas engines are easily serviced at dealerships and reputable mechanic shops nationwide. Legacy customers and their mechanics can email or call the shop at anytime for assistance.

Q: Does the Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ come with a warranty? (It's a 60 year old truck!)

Legacy Classic Trucks offers a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty on all mechanical labor and fabrication. Almost all of the parts on your Legacy Power Wagon Conversion™ are covered by a manufacturers warranty.
