1949 Dodge Power Wagon 4 Door - Anvil Grey

SKIP THE WAIT! The custom 1949 Power Wagon received a four-door crew-cab/longbed conversion and features an incredible 144-inch wheelbase. Further, the Power Wagon rolls on huge 40x13.50R17LT Toyo® Open Country M/T® tires, which offer maximum off-road traction but also have refined road manners and a comparatively quiet ride. Trail Ready beadlock wheels allow the Toyos to be aired-down to extremely low pressures to further increase off-road traction through larger footprints — without risking flats from the tires losing their beadseats.
This truck was set up with towing as a high priority. Its workhorse 12-valve Cummins 5.9L engine received a mild tune, which is complemented by an oversized Industrial Injection Phatshaft turbo. The turbo helps mitigate exhaust-gas temperatures, which is also assisted by a Bell intercooler. Legacy Classic Trucks addressed overall engine cooling by deleting the hood’s side vents (hot-rod style) and also added an auxiliary Ron Davis radiator to the bed. An exhaust brake was added to further improve towing performance. The rest of the drivetrain is built to one-ton or greater standards. A Dodge 47RH automatic transmission is mated to a bulletproof gear-drive NP205 transfer case. Custom Tom Woods one-ton driveshafts connect to a front Dana 60 axle and a rear Dana 80. Gearing is 4.56, and the rear diff has a Detroit Truetrac limited-slip.
To fit the huge Toyos, Legacy Classic Trucks engineered a custom three-link front suspension. Ride is controlled by 12-inch-travel King 2.5 coilovers, bolstered by King airbumps. Rear clearance is created by custom Alcan leafsprings with Bilstein 5100 shocks to control the ride.
Interior amenities are plush by any standards. We chose four Corbeau captain’s chairs for the occupants. Upholstery is French-stitched distressed gunsmoke leather to create a luxurious vintage Americana look and feel. Premium Mercedes-Benz square-weave carpet is also included.
